- The captain has a customized hand held device preloaded with the complete menu.
- The customer looks at the paper menu card and places order to the captain.
- Through the handheld device, the captain sends this information to the kitchen where a wireless printer receives the dishes to be prepared and prints a KOT instantaneously. The same information also goes to the billing counter.
- Once the order is served and the customer is finished with his meal the captain intimates the billing counter to prepare the final bill through the handheld device.
- Once the bill is printed by the wireless printer at the billing counter it is brought to the table of the customer.
- The whole process is completed smoothly and in less time than the previous system where the captain takes the order on paper, sends it to the kitchen physically.
- There is no chance of tampering or errors in the bill presented to customer.
- A single captain can now handle more tables as his only job is to take the orders and remain present in a limited seating area.
- Speedy execution of the order reduces customer waiting time and overall customer satisfaction
- All data is present on the computer for you to run analytics on it later on such as time of the year when the billing is maximum, what dishes are preferred by the customers etc.
