With the rapid changes in the technologies that are being used in the software industry throughout the world it is very difficult for the educational institutes to keep their course content up to date. The students who are freshly out of an engineering college do not have the requisite exposure such that they can be immediately absorbed by the industry. This is particularly true in case of the embedded industry where hands-on experience is much more valuable than the theoretical knowledge. When companies recruit freshers they have to spend at least a couple of months on training such engineers before they are ready to produce some meaningful output.
The training vertical of Three-Media Tech tries to bridge this gap between Industry and Academia through focused courses. We do not try to teach you everything in a few months time by touching just the surface of the technologies. We provide an in depth understanding of the basic skill sets needed to survive and excel in the embedded industry. Three-MediaTech follows three approaches towards training

This is the classroom lectures form of training. Lectures are important so that the participant develops a strong theoretical base for the concepts and how to implement them. The main objectives of lectures on various subjects like DSP, Statistical Signal Processing, Image Processing, Embedded Systems, and Communication are:
- To correlate various subjects & their importance.
- Introductions to new research topics such as Wavelets, EZW etc algorithms
- Concepts, fundamentals & Physical interpretations of various notions which are generally not covered in text books.
- Real time applications in industries.
- Last but not least, to cumulate interest in subjects of engineering among students.
Workshops are short term courses. The main objectives of workshops in DSP, Image Processing, Embedded Systems, are:
- To understand Signal Processing concepts quickly
- Deploy them in practical applications such as Audio/Video CODECs, Image processing and compression
The workshop is intended for 2-5 days with 9 hours per day. It will cover following topics:
- MATLAB programming concepts, Matrix fundaments & Applications in Signal Processing.
- Understanding DSP fundamentals with physical interpretations using MATLAB simulation.
- Extending DSP fundamentals to Audio, Image & Video Signal Processing in Real Time applications.
Full time courses are spread over several days depending upon the topics being covered and they provide and in depth understanding of the concepts along with hands on training. The topics covered are mainly C/C++ , DSP, Image Processing and Audio Signal Processing. These courses are mainly targeted to Final Year Engineering Students with the following goals in mind:
- Students are able to understand the industry requirement in DSP, Audio, Image and Video domain for Embedded platform.
- Students are able to execute projects on state of the art technologies in final year.
- Students are able to secure jobs in DSP & Media domain in Multinational companies.

- Embedded C++ - OOPS concepts, Classes, Operator & Function Overloading, inheritance, Templates etc.
